<li><strong>Fat Free Diet Foods-</strong> There are many foods on the market that are labeled fat free and under the category of diet foods, however although a certain food is labeled fat free and may be great for a <a href="http://www.lowfatdietplan.org"><em><strong>low fat diet</strong></em></a>, these foods can also be packed with sugar and calories. It is good to know that something is &#8220;diet&#8221; which if so, it should also be taken into account that the calories and sugar content are within reason so not to ruin your diet.</li>

<li><strong>Energy Bars</strong>- Energy bars are not all what they are cracked up to be. Mainly when used as snacks at 400 calories for most, these snacks could be replaced with a full filling healthy meal and still not be detrimental to your weight loss routine.</li>
<li><strong>Red Meat Proteins</strong> &#8211; Although, going low carb has it&#8217;s advantages, it is still true that red meat contains tons of fat and calories that can gravitate right to your belly and hips if not consumed within reason. It is best to stick with lean meats as a rich source of protein as these foods have fat burning capabilities and lower amounts of calories in single servings than red meats do.</li>
<li><strong>Salad Dressing</strong>- When you are on a diet, most smart dieters realize and make a salad a part of their daily menu, however as with other fat free foods- it is smart to realize that some salad dressings contain loads of preservatives, calories, and sugars which are not very beneficial to your diet. Try to choose dressings that are spritzers, vinegar based, or try fresh squeezed lemon over your salad for a change.</li>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>If you can keep off the weight you lose when you go on a low-calorie diet, chances are you are one of the growing numbers of people for whom the old adage &#8220;You have to burn more calories than you consume to lose weight&#8221; just does not work.</p>
<p>Most of the time when overweight persists despite best efforts to lose weight, the problem is insulin resistance (a condition in which body cells become less sensitive to the glucose-lowering effects of the hormone insulin).</p>
<p>The evidence for insulin resistance is a simple blood test. You prick your finger, let a drop of blood be absorbed on a slide placed in the side of a glucometer, wait about 10 seconds, and then you have your blood sugar reading. High blood sugar readings that don&#8217;t suggest insulin-dependent diabetes are a good indication of insulin resistance.</p>
<p>This all-too-common problem can be caused by internal inflammation. As you may recall from earlier in the book, lemon juice is one of nature&#8217;s best inflammation-fighters. Insulin resistance is also common in people who have eaten high sugar diets all their lives.</p>
<p>The lemon juice diet helps people enjoy sweet tastes without having to eat sugary foods.  Depletion of chromium and magnesium can also cause insulin resistance, but you will get plenty of those important minerals if you eat the fruits and vegetables I recommend you eat every day.</p>
<p>And another very common factor in insulin resistance is chronically high stress levels. What is the most common source of stress? Actually, stress about being too fat or too heavy is one of the most widespread causes of stress, even more common than stress about financial or family issues or bad health.</p>
<p>Simply sticking to the lemon juice plan long enough will reduce this particular kind of stress and indirectly help you lose the belly fat that is deposited with the help of the stress hormone cortisol.</p>
<p>Doctors often find that hormonal imbalances interfere with weight loss. It is not unusual at all to find that thyroid hormones are low in people who have trouble losing weight. The additional vitamin C you will get from lemon juice helps stimulate the conversion of the &#8220;bloodstream version&#8221; of thyroid hormone, T4, into the &#8220;fat burning version&#8221; of thyroid hormone, T3.</p>
<p>Weight problems are also often linked to imbalances in sex hormones. The bodies of both men and women produce both estrogen and testosterone, although men&#8217;s bodies produce very little estrogen and woman&#8217;s bodies produce very little testosterone.</p>
<p>Excess amounts of these hormones are excreted by the liver into the colon to be mixed with waste matter, but if there is not enough fiber in the diet, these hormones can be reabsorbed into the bloodstream. My diet recommendations provide your body with the fiber it needs to make sure excess estrogen and testosterone do not get back into your bloodstream.</p>
<p>You don&#8217;t have to lose drastic amounts of weight to feel better and improve your health. Even 5 or 6 pounds (2 or 3 kilos) can make a real difference. The addition of lemon and other healthy plant foods into your diet can cut down inflammation and allergy so much that you benefit in many of the same ways as if you had lost a lot more weight. You can still lose more pounds, but why not feel better even earlier in the process?</p>
<p>While lemon lays the foundation for powerful benefits to your health, some people can benefit from some nutritional supplements and dietary fine-tuning. I will discuss a little later in this chapter. But first let me tell you the stories of two people told to me by a health writer in America. These two people are a good example of a person who can benefit from a simple lemon juice diet and a person whose diet needed an even greater boost.</p>

I understand that your life is likely very busy but the fact is that everyone can make time to exercise if they simply apply a bit of creative thinking and a lot of determination to get what needs to get done, done. If you take the train for example, or the subway or bus to your job each day then you can get off three or four stops early and walk the rest of the way there.</p>
<p>Sure that’s 10 more minutes to your commute but you’ve just gotten your daily does of exercise. The process may be consuming but it should be a small price to pay if you’re serious about getting healthier and happier. Also if you own a car then instead of parking so close to your destination all the time, go a bit further out and walk the rest of the way. Or take the stairs instead of the elevator and lose 12.5 calories simply by climbing up and down the height of them.</p>
<p>Maybe you’re very busy with not only work, but also friends, family, and home. Whether you’re a housewife or househusband you still don’t have an excuse to skip out on exercising. You could create a series of exercises that you enjoy that the whole family can participate in. If your children can’t swim then now is the perfect excuse you need to teach them, or you, an invaluable skill that could one day save their lives.</p>
<p>Even everyday activities around your home can burn calories. From washing the car, to vacuuming, to digging and weeding the garden, any form of activity and exercise is a wonderful place to start. You’re daily routines can be used as the building blocks that will change your life and the way you see yourself.</p>
<h3>Water Is The Essence Of Life:</h3>
<p>Water is the building block of life. Protest hunger strikers have survives 10 weeks without food, proving that while you may be able to live without food, you will die without water. Water is used by your body to move nutrients to where they’re needed. Water removes wastes from the body so that we can survive from day to day. Water also helps organs in the body to communicate with one another by acting as a medium through which their electrical impulses are sent back and forth.</p>
<p>If your body’s hydration levels reduce by 5%, that equals to a loss of 20% in usable energy levels. A serious consideration especially if you’re exercising. Water holds no calories at all while alkaline water helps offset the natural acids present in your body, and also when you drink it, you get filled up. It may not seem a big deal, but when your stomach is full that means that you have no desire to eat.</p>
<p>As a result drinking a lot of water reduces the amount of food you believe that you need to ease your hunger. It’s quoted all over the place that a minimum of eight glasses of water a day is required and while that makes sense, really the amount you need depends on your metabolism. Even so, eight glasses a day equates to about 3 to 4 liters. A reasonable amount to start off at but it’s perfectly fine if you wish to start off with more.</p>
<p>Take into account that your body will often confuse hunger with thirst and vice versa. In both cases your metabolism needs something to fill the emptiness in your stomach. So when you begin your diet try to drink water whenever you feel as if you’re hungry. Wait 15 minutes to see if you still feel hungry and you’ll find that a majority of the time it will not. You can avoid taking in more calories than you need by simply drinking plenty of water. Before you stop to eat, or start preparing to cook (if you happen to be eating at home) drink to two large glasses of water. In this way you’ll feel full so that you won’t start picking at bits of food during the preparation of it. For this same reason you should also drink some water when you first get up in the morning. For most the time between dinner and breakfast is the longest so it’s only natural that you might be especially hungry in the morning time.</p>
<p>What all of this comes down to is that water is the most important liquid that you can take in which means that you should try to replace as many of the other drinks that you consume with water. There will of course come a time when you’ll crave something else in which case you’ll have to find a balance. If you like tea or coffee you’re consuming things that have a diuretic. So for every cup of coffee or tea, you need an addition two glasses of water to replace the lost fluids.</p>
<p>This is the same as how some medicines have herbs in them that are diuretic in nature so you need to drink a lot of water when you take them in order to keep your fluids up. Add water’s benefits to the fact that it contains no calories at all and you can understand why water should become an essential part of any successful weight loss plan.</p>

The market is flourishing with manufacturers who are out to make a quick buck off a candidate who sees no other alternatives for weight loss. There are valid ways than an individual can lighten up naturally and spare themselves from great expense to their pocketbook and their health.</p>
<p>Young individuals and old alike, all revolve around society stereotyping what thin should be. In this retrospect, People have an unhealthy perspective in what healthy is. This varies on an individual&#8217;s body type, genes, and metabolism make up. The only surefire way that an individual can lighten up naturally is to do it with the old good old fashion way. This means implementing an exercise routine regularly, eating healthy foods, and staying away from foods that contain high calories and high fat content. This also means that a person should lessen the amount of preservatives, chemicals, and toxins that they consume.</p>
<p>Surgeries can assist an individual in quick weight loss, however the risks of these procedures often outweighs the benefits one would derive from them. Unless an individual is morbidly obese they risk complications, and reap benefits for a temporary resolve. It is proven that most surgeries such as gastric bypass, lap band, and lypo surgery only inhibits weight-gain for short periods of time. The individual is often inclined to gain weight in the future and these measures do not teach proper habits to them that lead to successful long-term weight loss and maintenance. <p>The market is surrounded by manufacturers that produce pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals that are sold and purchased with claims to aid in weight-loss or to promote fast weight-loss. It is sad that the majority of these products are filled with substances that do no such things. In addition, many of these products have not been thoroughly tested to derive whether or not they are safe for human consumption. This poses a great risk for a society that flourishes with people who want an answer to their weight-loss woes. Most find themselves deeper in debt and without results when they purchase the newest trends. The choice to lighten up naturally is a wise one in comparison to the time consumption associated with wasting time and money on products that do not deliver.</p>
<p>There are many good reasons a person should avoid investing their goals of weight loss in product scams, and risky surgeries. However, an individual has to make the decision to cease chasing pipe dreams of being thin and to substantiate their goals with one that is realistic such as lightening up naturally.</p>

To decrease weight and get rid of obesity three things must be kept in mind: * Controlling eating habits. * Regular exercise. * Avoiding the causes of weight gain Diet recommended to lose weight: * Early morning Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of honey. * Breakfast Wheat or Mung bean sprouts and a cup of skimmed milk. * Midmorning A glass of orange, pineapple or carrot juice. * Lunch o Salad of raw vegetables such as carrot, beet, cucumber, cabbage, tomatoes. Steamed or boiled vegetables o Whole grain bread or whole wheat chapatis (Indian bread) and a glass of buttermilk. o Roasted cumin seeds, green coriander leaves, a little salt and some grated ginger mixed in the buttermilk. * Mid-afternoon o Coconut water o Dry fruits o Lemon tea o Fresh vegetable soup * Dinner o Whole grain bread or chapatis o Steamed vegetables o Seasonal fruits except banana and apple.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I still would like to exercise but because of my diet I am left feeling a little tired and weak.  Has anyone got any easy workouts that wouldn&#8217;t be too strenuous but still prove to be beneficial? I am a 16 year old female, 5.4 and I weight 8.10.<br />
A low carb diet needs to be high fat, at least 65% of total calories.</p>
<p>A low carb, low fat diet will not put you into ketosis and could be dangerous if the fat level is too low.  You will feel sluggish (induction flu) the first week or so on the diet but should feel much better after.  Walking is good enough exercise til you get stronger.  You will lose more body fat eating protein and fat (don&#8217;t eat protein alone) than not eating AT ALL.</p>
<p>To lose weight fast eat all you want but nothing but meat, eggs, healthy oils, mayo, butter and half an avocado a day (you&#8217;ll need added potassium). Keep the calories high and the fat percentage high, at least 65% of calories. Adding in green vegetables &amp; some cheese will continue weight loss but at a slower pace.  Your body won&#8217;t release fat stores if you lower calories below what it needs. It will slow your metabolism to compensate and store every spare ounce as fat.</p>
<p>If you continue lowering your calories, it will continue lowering that set point, til you can survive off nothing and store fat on anything. The body will only release it&#8217;s fat stores if it knows there is plenty of  food.  Simple carbohydrates (sugar, flour, bread, cereal, pasta, potatoes, rice) triggers insulin which can store the calories you eat into fat. The more protein you eat the more the fat burning hormone glucagon is released.</p>
<p>The more carbohydrate you eat the more the fat storage hormone insulin is released.  Simple carbs are addictive and can be disastrous to our health.  The best way to break the addiction is NO carbs for 3 days.  Make a huge batch of deviled eggs and eat one every time you want &#8220;something&#8221; have huge omelets for breakfast, with bacon, a lil onion, peppers, mushrooms &amp; cheese.  Pork chops for lunch.  Get pork rinds and eat them with tuna salad.  Steak for dinner.</p>
<p>Make a huge sugar free cheese cake for dessert.  Eat so much you won&#8217;t feel deprived of anything.  By the fourth day, your addiction will be gone and you can start making healthy choices.  High insulin levels unbalance other hormones. Controlling your insulin level will balance out other hormones &amp; allow human growth hormone (HGH) to be produced naturally so you will gain lean muscle even without exercise.</p>
<p>Any exercise will greatly increase your muscle mass with high HGH levels.  Once you get near your goal, you start adding 5 carbs every week til you gain weight, then you subtract 10 carbs.  That would give you your personal carb level (everyone is different and it depends on how active you are.)  As long as you remain &lt;9 carbs per hour, you will maintain insulin control, and shouldn&#8217;t gain weight.  Many people gain weight on high carb, then switch to low carb to lose weight &amp; then are shocked when they return to high carb that they gain weight.</p>
<p>Many people can return to moderate carb levels but very few can really eat all they want of sugar and maintain weight or health.  Dr.Atkins was a cardiologist, low carb was a health plan easier sold as a &#8220;diet&#8221;  Read any of his books for easily understandable science.  Lutz &#8220;Life without Bread&#8221; &amp; Taubes &#8220;Good calorie, bad calorie&#8221; are excellent books that dispel all the nutrition myths.  Reducing body fat and increasing muscle mass will have you in awesome shape in no time. Good luck!</p>
